Important 2023 Dates for the Class of ’24

It’s a new year and it’s important to talk to our juniors about important upcoming 2023 dates. 

First, the last SAT and ACT of the school year are the June 3 SAT and June 10 ACT. Junior year is testing year, so you want to aim to be finished testing by those dates. Another important date is August 1, when most college applications open. That is your target for when you finalize your list of schools and start working on the applications and essays at that time. So between now and then, read through their websites and go on college tours to get a grasp on the college search process. 

The next range of important dates are October 15 to November 15, the dates for Early Action and Early Decision deadlines for more competitive colleges. The last dates you should be aware of are all of December 2023, the results of your Early Action and Early Decision applications. For rolling admissions, you could know as soon as September.
