Why You Need a “College Email”

Today we have to talk about email, especially for sophomores. That’s because this is when you take the PSAT, start attending college visits and fairs, and eventually sign up by email for the SAT and ACT. All of these things require an email address.

All of the overwhelming amount of junk mail can be a lot to students using their school or personal email, so it’s better to create a new one to use while engaging with colleges throughout high school. When you’re accepted and committed to college,  you can get rid of that email and never have to worry about it again.

This is a great way to stay organized, focused, and not miss important information from colleges. So go to Gmail and create something as simple as your name. Simplicity is key.
