Show Colleges Your Creativity

Today, we are discussing creativity. Some college applications specifically ask if you have an art portfolio or any curating experience you can link or upload. Sadly most students ignore this because they think it has nothing to do with their major, but that’s OK! Colleges want creative people.

Who can solve problems? Creative people. Who can envision the future of an industry? Creative people! So if you have any creativity or any personal artistic outlet, show them. Showcase to them that you’re a whole-brained person and are engaged in interdisciplinary interests because that’s the kind of students they want.

You can use social media like Instagram and Soundcloud to display some of your art, projects, and audio/video uploads.
