10th & 11th Grade Digital SAT Timeline

Hey guys! It’s Eric at Solution Prep. And today we’re talking about the Digital SAT timeline.

Junior year is testing year and you want to get all your SATs done by the end of it. That way you can move on in the summer going into Senior year to your next big project — college applications and essays — without the SAT hanging over your head.

Now this is a weird year because the SAT will change in March to a totally new test.

The year’s timeline is broken in half — with students testing in the first half of the year on the old paper and pencil SAT, and students testing in the second half of the year on the new digital SAT.

And if you’ve been waiting for the digital SAT, you absolutely want the March SAT to be your first one. That way you still have the May SAT and the June SAT to test a second and, if necessary, a third time to put together your absolute best performances and best super score to send along to colleges.

Now, if you’re in 10th grade right now, summer is going to be a great time for you to start prepping; either for the August SAT at the end of August, or the October SAT at the beginning of October. That way you have all of junior year to space out your tests and get it done. You’re not under the same time crunch as this year’s Juniors.

So get going. And if you have questions, call us at 732-556-8220. We are here to help.
